PEROXIDE FREE
In humans and larger animal's hydrogen peroxide is the result of biochemical reactions, but it can also be found in low concentrations in plants, water and atmosphere. Peroxide is an oxygenating compound that acts as a mild antiseptic. This ingredient can destroy the healthy cells of the body, resulting in a slower healing process and higher risk of scars. In large doses, hydrogen peroxide can cause skin irritation, burns, painful blisters and skin whitening. Peroxide free products don’t contain this ingredient in their formula.
