Detach the upper part of the base by turning them in the opposite direction and lifting the upper part. 

Fill the hot water tap base (not boiling) up to the mark. NOTE: Do not go over the mark, as excessive filling will cause leaks. 

Open the VapoPad® Pad Pack and place a pad in the water. Put the upper part back in place. CAUTION: This appliance contains hot water. To prevent it from overturning once the inhaler is full, be sure to hook the upper part so that it is securely attached. 

Breathe the soothing vapors.

Maintenance: 
After each use, clean and dry your inhaler thoroughly. 
You can safely put the inhaler in the dishwasher by placing it on the top floor of the dishwasher.
