The elegant and sophisticated emerald cut symbolizes Place Vendôme, one of the iconic codes of the maison, where in 1893 Frédéric Boucheron became the first major contemporary jeweller to move into the square, at number 26, in front of the tall bronze column. Since then, like Double Godron and Clou de Paris, the emerald cut has become an integral part of the maison Boucheron's heritage that contributes to the original signature of its creations.
This heritage inspired Parfums Boucheron to create a new men's fragrance, Boucheron Singulier. Entirely inspired by the Emerald cut shape, which has become an inseparable signature of Boucheron, it owes its name to the brand's own universe: a singular, unique and exclusive universe that has been patiently and passionately built, enriched and reinterpreted over generations. Boucheron Singulier is an invitation to a new journey into the heart of the maison, where tradition is constantly combined with modernity, to give rise to creations that are always a reflection of their time. Boucheron Singulier aims to transcribe this universe in a bold and balanced composition in which the traditional woody aromatic accord, a classic of perfumery, is reinterpreted with modernity and a contemporary spirit.
Boucheron Singulier, an ultra-modern and sophisticated aromatic woody composition.
Created by Caroline Dumur, Boucheron Singulier was imagined around an emblematic wood of perfumery: cedar, which structures the composition and reveals its olfactory complexity in contact with the other accords and ingredients.
In the first notes, Boucheron Singulier reveals a fresh and lively particularity that highlights an invigorating accord of citrus and juniper berries. These vibrant spicy notes reveal the intensely aromatic character of the composition, accentuated by a trio of lavender, clary sage and geranium. Together, they bring out the resinous, almost smoky facet of cedar, the one that gives a woody fragrance its charm. To intensify its depth and density, patchouli and vetiver, equally emblematic woods, integrate the composition. All the richness of cedar is then revealed, magnetic, timeless and extraordinarily contemporary at the same time.
"This aromatic woody is built around cedar. This fragrance represents my vision of a new classic, while remaining modern. I used two grades of cedar to bring out the creamy side of the ingredient as well as its subtly smoky side, which pairs perfectly with the aromatic notes of sage and lavender. It's as if I've dressed this magnificent wood in multiple shades of blue. I've also added two types of patchouli, combining its essence with healingwood™, a fraction of the ingredient freed from its old-fashioned accents, which lends the note a real sophistication".

An incredible bottle by Boucheron, inspired by every detail of the iconic Place Vendôme
The sophisticated bottle of Boucheron Singulier is inspired by the distinctive elements of Place Vendôme and encapsulates the Parisian spirit of the maison, concentrating its essence and style in the smallest details. This bottle is dressed in a dense, deep blue, a precious color for Boucheron found in many of its creations. Its shoulders are covered with a silver metallic plate that perfectly accentuates the cut edges of the bottle. Its metallic design embodies the perfect rectangle of the emerald cut, one of Boucheron's most iconic signatures. The completely masculine, cylindrical and shiny black cap also echoes the codes of the maison, with its top bearing the Vendôme column logo as a distinctive mark.
Sober and graphic, the packaging is also inspired by Boucheron's Parisian codes: a deep blue packaging, the Colonne Vendôme logo at the top and the emblematic emerald cut engraved on the front. The Clou de Paris, another of Boucheron's exclusive codes, is engraved on the sides of the packaging in a subtle embossing, the last detail that definitively signs this new fragrance belonging to Boucheron's unique universe.
