What is the Sea Emerald?
Sea Emerald is a green algae from the Indo-Pacific coast. It is used as a premium culinary ingredient in many places such as Philippines and Okinawa (Japan) – where its inhabitants are known for their longevity.
This macro seaweed was added on the Stimulskin Plus formulas for its rejuvenating properties and its ability to boost the natural collagen production.

- Careful selection - our iconic algae was carefully selected from 75 species of one type of algae, the Caulerpa lentillifera
- Eco‐conscious cultivation - eco‐consciously harvested to preserve its natural habitat and a have minimum impact on the environment.
- Methodical harvesting - a precise cultivation to harness its power: Sea Emerald thrives in very specific conditions on sandy sea bottoms in shallow protected areas. It has to be cultivated at a precise temperature between 25°C and 30°C, in waters on sandy or muddy sea bottoms in shallow protected areas that have at least a 25% salinity. Sea Emerald is then meticulously hand‐picked, exactly 2 months after being planted to capture the best of its potency.
- Precise integration - once extracted, the Sea grapes are blended with other ingredients to add nutrients and transform this algae into Stimulskin Plus iconic Botanical Jewel.
What are the effects on skin?
The Sea Emerald has 2 types of effects on the skin, that explains its rejuvenating effects:
- It will reinforce the skin cohesion (at the junction between the dermis and the epidermis), boosting all the exchanges that happen between the two skin layers.
- It will help enriching and renewing the extracellular matrix, boosting the glycosaminoglycan and collagen synthesis, increasing the skin’s natural firmness and elasticity.
