Keeping a wound protected with a dressing is essential for faster healing. Hydrocolloid dressings, such as the new Hansaplast Second Skin Protection, create a moist environment that accelerates skin regeneration compared to using a standard dressing or healing in dry air. In addition, they help reduce pain and discomfort.

Thanks to its innovative hydrocolloid technology, this dressing forms a protective gel when it comes into contact with the wound – an opaque and whitish healing capsule. This layer keeps the wound hydrated, promoting healing and reducing the risk of visible scars.

The new Hansaplast Second Skin Protection, available in normal and XL sizes, is recommended for everyday wounds with a mild to moderate exudate level, such as cuts, abrasions, and scratches.
