Here we reveal 3 routines that are suitable for different types of curls, which also go hand in hand with the power of our amazing new range, the Curl Manifesto, specially formulated for curly hair.
This routine is destined to a Type 2 wavy hair, a hair type that is not particularly oily or dry and, although prone to frizz, tends to reflect well on shine. This type of hair can be fine and relatively easy to style, or it can be quite thick and prone to frizz.
Wash: a 4-step routine that starts with a shampoo -Bain Hydration Douceur - to remove product residues. We are talking about a gentle creamy shampoo that effectively cleanses the scalp and the hair lengths, while nourishing and hydrating.
Treat: next apply the conditioner - Fondant Hydration Essentielle. This step revitalizes the hair's moisture without weighing it down.
Texturizing: when it comes to defining, you can choose between Crème de Jour Fondamentale, a leave-in product that reduces frizz and leaves your hair softer and moisturized, or Gelee Curl Contour, if you prefer to define your curls.
Between washes: our flagship product, Refresh Absolu, is a no-rinse, refreshing curl spray that provides hydration, enhances shine, and re-energizes your curls.
The routine for type 3 curly hair is focused on curls that don't reflect as much shine as straight or wavy hair, since the follicles don't tend to stay straight. Natural moisture doesn't migrate from the roots to the ends and thus the lengths do not reflect light too well. This type of curl has to deal with lack of nourishment, breakage, frizz and knots and, because of this, needs extra care.
The first step is to wash your hair with Bain Hydration Douceur, which cleanses, nourishes and moisturizes.
Then, the best option to treat this type of curls is to apply the Masque Beurre Haute Nutrition, an extra rich treatment that deeply nourishes and softens the hair, and helps untangle the curls (preventing unwanted breakage).

Texturize: here, we recommend a trio of styling products, known as the LOC method (leave-in, oil and cream). You start with the leave-in cream, then, without rinsing and after the cream has been absorbed, you apply the oil. Finish with the gel-cream to seal in the moisture and define the curl.
