In 1925, at just 23 years old, Marcel Rochas founded Maison de Couture ROCHAS, inspired by such essential codes as audacity, joie de vivre, and elegance. Marcel Rochas had his own vision of femininity, considering comfort, uncomplicated, but also sumptuousness, and pleasure to be paramount. Femme, a perfume created in 1945 and dedicated to his wife Hélène, marked the beginning of a love story between the Maison and perfumes. The Maison continued this new chapter with the creation of other fragrances such as Byzance, Madame Rochas, and Eau de Rochas, which marked an era in the world of perfumery.
